OK, so in last week’s post I shared a “semi-excerpt” of an upcoming tune. Well…the tune’s still upcoming.

But soft! What sound through yonder window breaks? No, it’s not the finished “B. Obama”. However, it is yet another excerpt. At this rate, it’ll be all excerpts, no final piece. I beg your patience, gentle listener…

I’d hoped to have the real tune ready for today, but I’m settling for a “semi-excerpt”, which means that it’s a small section of the final tune, which will contain more instruments, a tighter mix, and be much longer. I’m going a little out on a limb, because instrumental music –with solos?!?– isn’t my strong suit. But people, I gotta tell you, the final version of this tune has been haunting me for three years now, and it needs to get out of my head once and for all. Its day is coming up quickly.
