“B. Obama” (Teaser Trailer)

I’d hoped to have the real tune ready for today, but I’m settling for a “semi-excerpt”, which means that it’s a small section of the final tune, which will contain more instruments, a tighter mix, and be much longer. I’m going a little out on a limb, because instrumental music –with solos?!?– isn’t my strong suit. But people, I gotta tell you, the final version of this tune has been haunting me for three years now, and it needs to get out of my head once and for all. Its day is coming up quickly.

“Hoodie-Footie Valentine”

Did I mention that working at Vermont Teddy Bear Company (i.e., PajamaGram) was a wonderful excuse for coming up with songs?

Here’s one that I put some time into getting to sound the way I wanted. However, I didn’t have time to do a “proper” video, so the twirling circle of Hoodie-Foodie women was the best I could do. I am rather fond of the tune, though. Hall and Oates were primary musical inspirations with Gerry Rafferty’s “Baker Street” in mind during the bridge. Let the ersatz ’70s soft-rock balladry float you away.
